A girl in a red hood leaves the path. Two children leave a trail of white stones to find their way home, and then a trail of bread. An emperor walks through the town in clothes a stupid man cannot see. A queen asks her mirror who is the most beautiful in the land. A girl must leave the ball before twelve. Seven little goats must not open the door. Nobody wants a big grey duckling. And a little mermaid gives her voice for a prince. This edition retells the tales of the Brothers Grimm, Charles Perrault and Hans Christian Andersen in eight short chapters of A1 Dutch, with the famous lines, the dark parts and Andersen's own ending.
