One short Dutch text a week, with audio, in your inbox
Every Sunday: one new text at your level, the audio, five words worth learning, and nothing else. Free, one email a week, and you can leave with one click.
What you get
- One short Dutch text at your level, with a link to the page where you can tap the words and listen to the audio.
- Five words from the text that are worth learning, with the article and the English meaning.
- One question about the text, so you read it and do not just file it.
- When a new Dutch Readers volume is out, you hear it first, and subscribers get the free chapter before anyone else.
That is the whole email. No tips of the week, no partner offers, no "we miss you" messages.
A sample issue
Subject: Op de markt (A2): een pond kaas, graag
This week Kasia goes to the Saturday market in Rotterdam. Read how she buys a pond of cheese, why the sellers shout, and what kibbeling is. About 300 words, five minutes with the audio. Five words to keep: de kraam (market stall), vers (fresh), het pond (500 grams), pinnen (to pay by card), de bos bloemen (bunch of flowers). Question: how does Kasia pay at the cheese stall?
How often, and how to leave
One email a week, on Sunday morning. If there is no new text in a week, there is no email. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom; one click and you are off the list, no questions asked.
